AVFD to Host District 3 Candidates July 26

The Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) is hosting all candidates for Anderson County Commission District 3 for a discussion of issues, and a question & answer session with department members at Station No. 1 in Andersonville at 7 p.m. Monday, July 26.

“Candidates’ knowledge of emergency services and their stance on certain issues is important to the department and the community we serve,” said AVFD Chief Jeff Bagwell.

Bagwell said the meeting at the fire hall, located at 1957 Mountain Road adjacent to Andersonville Elementary School, is open to the public.
