Our District: AVFD services 65 square miles in the northeastern region of Anderson County. Our district includes Interstate 75 between mile markers 118 and 126. We service highway 441 from the Knox County line to Norris Dam. We service highway 61 from the Clinton city limits to the Union County line. We also provide EMS and fire service to all surrounding commercial and residential areas. As the needs of the community grows it requires us to grow also. We addtion of newer equipment, new members and old members resigning from service the need for proper training and equipment needs grow.

How we are funded

ArrowAndersonville Volunteer Fire Department (AVFD) is a volunteer organization, whose main goal is to serve the Community.

ArrowAVFD relies on grants and donations. Every donation can make a big difference.

ArrowAVFD is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fire and emergency protection and prevention in Anderson County. Donations to AVFD are tax-exempt under IRS Section 501(c)(3). No members of AVFD receive payment for their service..
